So, I have been experimenting with painting apps for iPads. I bought a generation 4 iPad and have been working with both Sketchbook Pro, which is a great drawing app, and ProCreate, my preferred painting app because of all the cool brushes and quick gesture options that are available.

I also have a Pogo Connect stylus and an Adonit jot pro stylus. The former is my tool of choice right now. The following profile pic was created in ProCreate with the pogo connect stylus using a studio pen under the pen and ink settings, wet brush and toned background. There are an unending array of variations on the above theme by merely changing layer modes or background color options. 

The text was added in Photoshop after uploading the image from the iPad to iTunes and then saving it to my macbook pro.
